Waterport: Ellen G. London age 96, died April 13, 2013 at The Villages of Orleans in Albion, where she received skilled and loving care from the entire staff since 2012. She was born August 21, 1916 in the Town of Carlton a daughter of the late Ernest and Harriet (Grimmer) Gibson and had lived her entire life in the Town of Carlton. Ellen was a member of the Carlton United Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles G., and 3 brothers. She is survived by her beloved children, Charles J. (Ann) London of Waterport, Francis G. "Jerry" (Monica) London of Waterport, Sidney "Dick" (Wende) London of Batavia, Veda (Bob) VerCruysse of Waterport; 14 adoring grandchildren, Nathan London, Wanda Pangrazio, Brian London, Brenda Benjovsky, Bradley London, Bruce London, Denise Hapeman, Todd London, Dean London, Nicole DeCarlo, Melanee London, Tracy Perry, Robin Wells, Robert M. VerCruysse, 37 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Elizabeth Martin of MA., several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Avenue, Albion, Friday April 19, from 11:00-2:00, where Ellen's Funeral Service will follow at 2:00.
