Obituary of Eugene James Lamont
Lyndonville: Eugene James “Gene” Lamont, age 55, passed away unexpectedly on September 30, 2019. He was born February 17, 1964 in Medina to the late Richard and Gladys (Moore) Lamont.
Gene was a great mechanic who always loved to work on things. He enjoyed spending time on the Oak Orchard River fishing and canoeing. His greatest joy was spending time with his son Richy.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Barbara, brother, Roger, and sister-in-law, Anne Lamont.
Gene is survived by his son Richy (Casey) Lamont, sister, Jeannette (Brad Snyder) Burley, brothers, Charles (Paula) Lamont, Ronald Lamont Sr., soon to be granddaughter, Harper, dear friend, Karen, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Ave. Albion, NY 14411 on Wednesday, October 9th from 2:00-3:00pm only. A service will be held privately and at the family’s convenience.
