Obituary of Shirley Ferris Reed
Point Breeze: Shirley Ferris Reed, age 76, passed away November 26, 2019 at United Memorial Hospital in Batavia. She was born May 6, 1943 in Brockport to the late James and Stella (Tiberio) Ferris.
Shirley was very athletic and was an avid golfer who achieved 3 holes-in-one in a twelve month span. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers.
In addition to her parents, Shirley was predeceased by her brother, James and step-son, Randall.
Shirley is survived by her loving husband, Ralph “RC” Reed, children, Kevin Hurlburt, Kelly Ann (Matt) Demitro, grandchildren, Joseph, Jakob, Jaysa step-daughter, Cheryl Reed, step-grandchildren, Samuel, Ryan, Kyler, nieces, Carson (Nick) Zeolla, Jane Ferris, great-nephews, James, Cade, Aiden, sister-in-law, Linda (Richard) Olson, close friends, Jim (Paula) Bannister, and Gerry (Beverly) Moore.
We invite Shirley's relatives and friends to a "celebration of life" gathering on Saturday, December 7th at the American Legion 5 Wright St, Holley, NY from 1-5 pm. Thank you.
Shirley’s arrangements have been entrusted to Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. of Albion, NY.
