Lockport: Edward R. Tagg, passed away May 2, 2020 at his home while under the care of Niagara Hospice and surrounded by his loved ones. He was born March 23, 1960 in Lockport to Charles W. and Eleanor R. (Micarski) Tagg. Ed enjoyed going racing, camping and was a Mr. Fix-it and all-around handyman. He really loved spending as much time as he could with his family. In addition to his father, Charles, Ed was predeceased by his sister, Barbara Jean LaForme. Ed is survived by his loving companion of 19 years, Mary Sink, children, Jessica (Ken) Kahler, Jacob (Lauren) Sink, Alicia Sink, Ronald Rowles, siblings, Eleanor (“Bizz”) Friend, Charles “Mike” Tagg, Patricia (late Gary) Mahar, Donald Tagg, Theresa (Frederick Pratt) Tagg, Cathy House, 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and was a loving uncle to several nieces, nephews and cousins. Due to current health concerns, a Celebration of Life Service for Ed will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions in Ed’s name may be made to Niagara Hospice 4675 Sunset Dr. Lockport, NY 14094. Ed’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Sherrie Bream Funeral Home 4521 Main St. Gasport, NY 14067.
