Anna and Warren Wallace are members of an elite group of people who truly gave of themselves to make Middleport a “Friendly Community.” Anna was a woman of faith who shared the gentle love and hospitality of Christ in all she did. She exhibited Proverbs 31 as a godly woman and faithful wife. Our lives are blessed to have known Anna and Warren. Deepest prayers and love to their family. A life and faith to be celebrated.

I knew Anna well through the Middleport Free Library (now Royalton Community Library) as we both served on the Board for many years. Anna defined the term "lady" from her attire to her kind demeanor. She was a pleasure to work with and was so knowledgeable about the Village of Middleport. So she will greatly missed! My condolences to the family.

Thank you so much for your condolences. My mother loved being involved with the library. Yes, a lady through and through. As a child I remember walking downtown to do errands and how we stopped and visited with so many people. It seemed to me that she knew everyone in town.

When we moved to Middleport we didn’t know what our “shed like structure “ was. We called Anna and she told us it was a railroad shanty. She was so kind to explain what it was and even sent me a newspaper article about it. What a kind, knowledgeable lady she was.

Remember growing up in Middlepprt & of many of the core families in town. Many were associated with the United Methodist Church in town. Every time I now use vanilla I think of my Mom Mary Christensen, Anna Wallace & Betty Querns & all the vanilla they sold over the years for the church.
