I was sad to read of my Uncle Gerry's passing. He was a very good man in my eyes and I have fond memories of being around him.
I believe he was a solid example of what a Christian father should be to his family - and his children's families reflect that. Not many dads can claim that.
I did not know of his specific recent health struggles and yet find it interesting that I was moved to pray for him by name, in recent weeks, along with many other relatives.
I am happy to hear he had family around him in his last days.
Gerry's life is truly a life to be celebrated. I pray for those who loved him, to try to do just that.
We will all see him soon!
