Obituary of Catherine R. Schad
Albion: Catherine R. Schad, age 89, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on August 4, 2020. She was born January 11, 1931 to the late Charles and Emma (Kelley) Schad.
Catherine worked for Harrison Radiator for over 40 years. She enjoyed gardening and shopping.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings, Gertrude, Charles “Bud” Jr, Paul, June Busch, and John.
Catherine is survived by her sister Patricia Wright, nieces and nephews, Rebecca Valentine, Michael (Karen) Schad, Shell Duff, as well as several more nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
There are no prior calling hours. A graveside service will be held at St. Vincent Cemetery, Exchange St. Attica, NY 14011 on Monday, August 10th at 11:00am.
Memorial contributions in Catherine’s name may be made to the Orleans County Joint Veterans Council, 13396 Route 31 Albion, NY 14411.
