Jeff was a high school friend, and even though he was never my "boyfriend", I loved him. Everybody did, he just had a way about him. He was truly one of a kind - the type of guy who, if he was your friend, you knew had your back. Pam, you probably don't remember, but you guys helped me run away from home when I was 15! Jeff bought a bunch of silver from me to make his beautiful bracelets and rings, you bought my hair dryer (the kind with the cap that you hooked the hose on and put the thing over your big head when you had rollers in so you looked like a space man!) You both took me to the bus station the night I Ieft and gave me a ton of moral support. I was very grateful. If not for facebook we may never have been in touch again, but I was so happy when Maureen found you guys! My mind went right to the fun, crazy stuff we did as teenagers, and we laughed so hard remembering...
I'm so sorry he's gone Pam, I know he will be missed by so many people. I'm glad I got to know him - for however short a period of time - he touched my life in a very special way. Rest in peace Jeff.

I had the pleasure of knowing Jeff since I was a child and would go over to his house with my stepfather and would admire all of his taxidermy. Then my husband and I had the pleasure of becoming his neighbor for a while. Jeff was the most loving, generous, kind-hearted man and I always enjoyed our visits. Our deepest sympathies go out to the family. Jeff will truly be missed!!

Dear Pam, and Family.
I’m so sorry for your loss. I don’t need to tell you how good a Man he was because you shared many years with him. I Loved all the hunting stories Jeff told me.
I remember when he restored my Musky fish mount. He did such an Awesome job on it. I also remember my first deer mount he did for me.
Jeff, you will be missed by so many friends and family. See you in Heaven my friend. God bless and R.I.P

Jeff had a generous soul. His love for family and those around him was only matched by his love of nature and the preservation of it. An artist in every sense of the word, he could create something as beautiful as DaVinci could out of what ever was laying around and with something as simple as a rusty spoon and a lump of coal. He took pride in his creations, each of them meticulous, vibrant, real as life, as if it were the hand of God himself recreating the feathers of a pheasant, the scales of a bass, or the antlers of a jack-a-lope.
A great story teller with a sharp wit and silver tongue - he could immerse you into a story or joke as if you thought you were there yourself, and make you laugh until you cried from his gap-toothed grin and giggle. His way with words and phrases should have their own dictionary. May they be real or made up, they were infectious and would dance in your mind over and over again until you began repeating them in everyday conversation that would make people give you a second look. Your favorite song lyrics had no meaning once they were rewritten on the fly in the mind of this man, more funny, with better rhyming.
Whether it was out on the road on his hog or at home in his house, he was quick to acknowledge his love for his country and the respect of his brothers in arms. I never knew a time when he didn't have the flags flying to remind everyone we don't ever forget the sacrifices those have made for this country.
From the first time I met him, I knew like everyone else, he had a presence. His style, his actions, his words, they all told a tale of striving for a life of freedom. It lives on in his family, his grandchildren, and to his extended family of friends and companions.
To Jeffrey and Pam, he was like a second father to me. The time I spent with your family growing up will last me a lifetime. Your pain is my pain. May he rest in peace, guided into an eternal forest by Tami's song, to a better place where he can shine down on all of us.
