Shawn D. Dolney, age 44, recently of Albion, formerly of South Dakota passed away peacefully at his home where he wanted to be surrounded by his family on October 1, 2020. He was born October 27, 1975 in Webster, SD to Dominic and Beverly (Schuster) Dolney. Shawn enjoyed working and more importantly spending his time with his family. He was a very genuine, loving and caring person. In addition to his father Dominic, he was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Jerome and Silva Dolney and maternal grandparents, Robert and Florentine Schuster. Shawn is survived by his wife of 11 years, Danielle (Rotoli) Dolney, children, Zachary Deville, Seth Stratton Dolney, Kelsey Dolney, Devin Carleton, Chase Carleton, granddaughter, Luna Carleton, mother, Beverly Dolney, brothers, Dustin Dolney, Josh Dolney, John (Kristen Welch) Hosmer, father and mother-in-law, Bruce and Robin Rotoli, brothers-in-law, Adam (Lindsey Larken) Rotoli, Joseph (Jamie) Rotoli, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Shawn's Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th at 2:30pm at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Ave. Albion, NY 14411.
