My brother Brian and I didn’t always see eye to eye. One of the hazards of sharing a room with him through our informative years. But, I will always remember that, he was well spoken, witty and verbose. In the good times we had, we would talk into the night of tales and lies and just good yarns. In the bad we threw stones at each other across the pond, the ripples of which have been lost like tears in the rain.
The last time I saw him was in 2008 on a bike ride up the West Coast of Scotland. I don't think I could possibly have smiled any more on that journey. I have attached two photographs of him from that trip; one of him giving his Honda CBR some beans down the Bealach na Ba in Applecross. It is how I will remember him, living life to the full.
It is quite clear that he has been an awesome mate to countless people. My biggest regret will always be that we didn’t reconcile.
He will be immeasurably missed by both my wife and I, his keen sense of sardonic humour, his beautiful endearing smile, and most of all his wonderful friendship. He was and always will be my brother.
True sailing Bri into the next riding nirvana.
With love Davy & Nu x
We follow a pathway that has no end
As we travel through life day by day.
Together with those who are dear to our hearts
Who are there by our side, come what may
But sometimes a loved one must travel ahead
For reasons that aren't always clear.
And we're left behind to continue along,
Missing one who is no longer here.
And while it may seem that the pathway has stopped,
Brian has merely rounded a bend,
And my brother goes on to a much brighter place
On the bike ride that has no end.

Even though we have not seen each other in a long time.
I will miss that big smile of yours when ever we ran in to each other
at Walmart and that " Hello mom". Heaven is now a better place
with you in it!

A true friend from a very young age and will always be that to me. Reflecting this week I cannot think of any time during my growing up where Brian didn’t play a part. He was as there with his humour and also good advice. I will never forget the part he played in my life and will be sadly missed. My families thoughts (Mum, Mark and Mandy) are with you all. Thanks for the memories Lindsey/Ivor! xx

The best of mates since we were little boys, you couldn’t write a book about the adventures we had that would be believed! All those years into our early twenties hold memories that will never fade, and stories that can never again be told ;-) The next bike ride will be in your honour, see you again in Valhalla old friend.....Hammy x

I spent many years around Brian before he moved across the pond, a better man you could not meet. Caring, hard working and above all else, my friend. I have fond memories of Brian and will always remember him.
May he rest in peace.

Brian your smile was contagious and your witty humor could always light up the room. I loved that you always greeted me with a "Hi sis". I am forever thankful for all the memories you have blessed me with! I truly hope your beautiful soul is at peace.

A few years ago, I was at a party and everyone was playing volleyball. I was pretty pregnant and didn't want to play. I was only sitting alone for a few minutes before Brian came over. We talked for hours as he kept me company sitting on the side of the volleyball net. He always had the best stories. He was so caring and he will be greatly missed. ♡♡

We had an amazing 7+ years with Brian. When my best friend Jessica got married to him, I knew he was a good guy. I will miss our funny banter and his extremely caring nature. He was definitely an amazing man and will be missed so so so much. RIP Bri- we love you
