Obituary of Bonnie Ann Whelan

(HOLLEY) Bonnie Ann Whelan, age 50, died December 30, 2020 in Strong Memorial Hospital. She was born December 29, 1970 in Brockport to David and Linda (Holbrook) Freeman and had lived in this area all of her life. Bonnie was a member of the Leukemia Survivor Support Group on Facebook, a member of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Wine and attended St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Hamlin. She is survived by her husband of 20 years Christian, her children: Erika Polle of Brockport, A.J. (Teena) Polle of Holley, Alexandra (James) Magana of Bergen, Aleshia (Nick) Whelan of Brockport, Kristen Whelan of Brockport, her brother: Jeff Freeman of Churchville, sisters: Sandra (the late James) Moore of Hamlin, Tammy (Jeff) Ferrin of Brockport, 10 grandchildren: Elijah, Lily, Elsie, Andrew, Onalee, Evelyn, Tanner, Joey, Carter, Max, her parents: David and Linda Freeman, several in-laws as well as several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 16650 State Rt. 31-Holley, WEDNESDAY from 12-2 p.m. where her funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. following visitation. The service will live-streamed and can be viewed by clicking on the left side of her obituary at “Service Livestream”. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery. Please note the Funeral Home will be operating at 33% capacity per state guidelines. New York State requires those in attendance to adhere to the social distancing guidelines and face coverings are mandatory.
