My grandmother was a wonderful person.
We shared similar humor, we had similar interests, and we agreed with most things.
Although we often fought, we still loved each other and I'm glad to have memories of all of the hugs and positive things I experienced during her time as my grandma.
She and I would watch Hallmark movies together (even though I called them cheesy or teased her for it every once in a while), we'd play games together (usually board games or card games; she didn't really understand internet-type games too well).
Sue had a very open mind. She'd frequently listen to me and what I had to say about certain issues I was having. She never judged me for my emotions or for being who I wanted to be.
One of my favorite things that I remember about us is what we'd established as our "love language" (that's what my mom called it, and that's what stuck with us. We'd found it hilarious at the time), which was flipping each other the "bird" (the middle finger). My dad (her son) would join in from time to time, and we'd get a kick out of it.
I'll miss her belly laugh whenever she truly found joy in something. It was truly contagious. Even after she's passed, I still laugh at old jokes or funny memories we'd shared.
I love you grandma

We were so sorry to hear about Susie passing. My Mom and Dad always enjoyed Susie and Wayne's visits, especially when John was a child. That was a few years ago. I know my mother will miss Susie's calls, and updates on the family.
Hope you will find comfort in knowing Susie is in a better place.
