Obituary of Kathleen M. Mooney
(GASPORT)
Kathleen M. Mooney, age 69, died February 22, 2021 at her residence following a long illness.
She was born July 3, 1951 in Lockport to Richard and Marylou (Smith) Ruppel and was a life-long resident of this area. Kathleen was a graduate of St. James Mercy School of Nursing and worked as an LPN at Medina Hospital, Orchard Manor Nursing Home and for Dr. Harvey Blanchett. She enjoyed various outdoor activities including camping and fishing. Mrs. Mooney was predeceased by her brother: Steve Ruppel.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years Patrick, her brother: Rick (Debbie) Ruppel of Royalton, her sister: Linda (John) Lakatosh of DE as well as many other family members and friends. There will be no calling hours. Private services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Gasport Chemical Hose Co., 8412 State St., Gasport, NY, 14067 or TriTown Ambulance, 8405 Telegraph Rd., Gasport, NY, 14067.
