Obituary of Harvey H. Sprout

Harvey H. Sprout, age 87, died March 17, 2021 in his home following a short illness. 

He was born January 5, 1934 in Lockport to Lloyd and Gladys (Clayton) Sprout and had been a lifetime resident of this area.  Harvey attended the Faith Bible Baptist Church and was a member of the Hartland Bible Church in Gasport.    Farming, however, was his world and spent a lifetime nurturing the land and his animals.  He took great pride in his family and enjoyed the company of his grandchildren. 

Harvey is survived by his wife of 63 years Beverly, his children: Susan (Douglas) Spears of Middleport, Steven (Kimberly) Sprout of AR, Ronald (Karen) Sprout of Middleport, Wendy (Steven) Falta of Honeoye Falls, Kimberly (Stephen) Lunden of Middleport, 17 grandchildren: Crystal (Matthew), Shelly (Marc), Katelyn (Matthew), Jacob (Jaylin), Josiah, JonLuke (Allissa), Jayden, Kendra, Mitchell, Anna, Jennifer, Joseph, Zachary, Abigail, Sarah, Amanda, Rebecca, and 9 great grandchildren. 

The family will receive friends at the Faith Bible Baptist Church, 3064 N. Gravel Rd., Medina, NY, 14103, FRIDAY from 4-7 p.m.  where Harvey’s Funeral Service will be held SATURDAY 10 a.m..  Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.  Please note that the church will be operating at 50% capacity and face masks/coverings are mandatory and social distancing will be enforced.
