Obituary of Josh Garcia

Albion, recently of Brockport: Joshua J. “Josh” Garcia, age 29, passed away unexpectedly on April 10, 2021. He was born April 19, 1991 in Medina to Pedro and Christie (Zarnoch) Garcia.

Josh loved to spend his time fishing, riding his 4-wheeler and watching the New England Patriots. He was a funny guy who always found a way to tease people or get them going. Josh worked at Nesbitt Fruit Farm for many years and his greatest love was spending time with his family and friends.

Josh was predeceased by his grandfather, Delano Summers, maternal great-grandmother, Doris Brown, uncle Bobby Major, and great-aunt, Patricia Irla.

Josh is survived by his parents, Christie and Pedro Garcia, siblings, Hollie (Fiancé Harley Brabon) Zarnoch, Ashley (Jesse) Dole, Nikki (Fiancé Josh Hartford) Zarnoch, Kelsey Garcia, Nicholas Garcia, his girlfriend, Alyssa Swanger and his unborn daughter, grandmother, Olga Smith, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, who he loved very much.

Josh’s family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Ave. Albion, NY 14411 on Thursday, April 15h from 11:00-1:00pm where his funeral service will be held immediately following at 1:00pm. Interment will follow in Mt. Albion Cemetery.

Please note the Funeral Home will be operating at 50% capacity per state guidelines as of February 5, 2021.  New York state requires those in attendance to adhere to social distancing guidelines and face coverings are mandatory.
