Obituary of Richard F. Griffin
Albion: Richard Griffin, age 83, passed away on May 1, 2021. He was born November 7, 1937 in to the late Francis and Rita (Gramlich) Griffin.
Richard was a U.S. Navy Veteran who served from 1956-1960. He was a recipient of the “Babe Ruth Award” in 1955 and inducted into the Albion High School Sports Hall of Fame in 1992. He was a retiree of Owens Illinois in Brockport and the Village of Albion.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Janice, son, Mark, sister, Sue, brother-in-law's Roger Kaniecki and David Hobson.
Richard is survived by his daughters, Sarah (Scott) Hess, Martha (Dean) London, Elizabeth Mowers, grandchildren, Kate, Michael, Andrew, Paul, Dennis, three great-grandchildren, brothers, Fr. David, Donald and sister, Karen Hobson.
Services for Richard will be held privately.
