I miss you and love you, my friend. I beat that brain tumor! My family is doing well considering. Corina left during the pandemic and is living on her own. The weakest link is making it. Always on my mind. Love, Kiki Medina

Ellie was one of my first friends in law school. To me, she already was a lawyer-she was always writing briefs for the attorney she worked for and whom she later partnered with. She was smart, had a great sense of humor, and was a good friend. I was happy to walk into class or the library and see her. It was good to see her when our group got together every few months. I’ll miss her a lot!

We miss Elly"s laugh, wit & smile, her way of making every challenge so rationally resolved. Her nonjudgemental kindness, enduring charisma & the desire to be in every room she would be in- if you didn't want to miss the fun & laughter! Elly knew how to make you feel special! We will miss Elly forever. She is forever my Influencer & one of the most lovable humans I have ever had the honor of calling my family & my sister-in-law. I love you Elly! Rest in Peace.... See you soon...

Elly was my classmate at St. Joseph's catholic school from kindergarten through 12 years of education. In the grade classes since our last names were at the end of the alphabet I had the opportunity to sit by her and enjoy her infectious ever present smile. She was always optimistic and joyful. It is that legacy of happiness that she spread that will always stay with me. Thank you, Elly for that brightness of light that you always brought forth. You are an even brighter light now and will be in my memory forever. Love you. Enjoy the peace you have so deservedly earned. Peg (Margaret Tschetter)

Elly will be missed by the ladies of the North Hempstead Country Club Women's Golf Association. Her laughter, sense of humor, kindness, friendship, and warm presence will be missed by all. Our hearts are broken. It was always a pleasure to play golf with Elly, and then of course, enjoying a Dewar's in a bubble glass after the round accompanied by a lively conversation and laughs.
Hit them long "lefty." Time to break 100! Happy heavenly golfing.

Elly was my sibling. She wasn’t a competitor, she was a leader. She led by example. She used fun as bait. She made progress and growth seem effortless. In high school I watched her with admiration as she decimated her opponents in Debate Club, enjoy the free pass provided to show films as an Audio Visual Club assistant, speak theatrically as a Signor Prize contestant and shine on the stage of her Senior Class play as Mrs. Chumley in their production of “Harvey”. After High School she moved to Rochester to be a Legal Secretary. She grew restless, took charge, moved to New York City, went to Saint John’s University, became a lawyer and opened her own Law Practice employing a staff to satisfy Contract Law and resolve the tensions and conflicts of her clientele. In our own family she was recognized by all to be a peacemaker. She loved games and you had to pay attention as she did not obligate herself to stick to the rules. Enjoyment characterized her life for herself and for others. To know her was to love her. She was a good person to have as a friend. She was a very special gift. Good job woman, good job.
