Obituary of June Roeck

Holley:  June Roeck, 89, passed away at her home August 7, 2021 with her loving family at her side.  She was born June 22, 1932 in Savannah GA., the daughter of the late Claude and Blanche (Cox) Pittman.  June was united in marriage to Frederick on November 8, 1952 in Savannah Georgia and would enjoy 68 wonderful years of marriage.  She had lived in Holley since 1971 and was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Holley.  June was an avid quilter, gardener and crafter having displayed several items at the Genesee Country Museum.

June is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Fred; children, Fred (Lisa)Roeck Jr. of MT., Lori Herbert of AZ., and Rob (Mel) Roeck of AZ., grandchildren, Taylor Roeck, Evan and Troy Herbert and Finn Roeck; sister-in-law, Barbara Campbell and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 16650 State Route 31, on Thursday August 12, from 4:00-7:00pm.  June’s funeral service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Holley on Friday August 13, at 10:30am.  Private interment in Hillside Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Holley, 34 E. Albion St. Holley, NY 14470 or Holley Community Free Library, 86 Public Square, Holley, NY  14470
