Obituary of Nancy A. Eckerd
Albion) Nancy A. Eckerd age 79 died August 12, 2021 at United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia. She was born April 21, 1942 in Middleport, a daughter of the late George and Sylvia (Retchless) Wescott and had lived in this area all of her life.
Nancy enjoyed the outdoors, fairies, cats and bride dresses. She loved cooking and spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren.
Nancy was predeceased by her husband Abraham; grandson Dustin Eckerd; granddaughter Amana Lindenmuth; sisters Hazel Fidanza, Dorothy DiCureia, Helen Montgomery; brother Thomas Westcott. She is survived by her sons Clayton (Donna) Eckerd of Hilton, Scott (Caroline) Eckerd of Holley; her daughters Charlene (Jay) Lindenumth of Rochester, Lynn Eckerd of Albion; brother Richard (Vonda) Wescott of Middleport; grandchildren Ashley, Heidi (Joe), Aaron, Austin, Angel, Amber, Blake, Brianna; great-grandchildren Carlos, Zoey, Aurora, Brook, John III, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Ave. Albion, Thursday August 19th 12:00pm-2:00pm where her Funeral Service will follow at 2pm. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to P.A.W.S. 3371 Gaines Basin Rd., Albion NY 14411, Lollypop Farms, 99 Victor Rd., Fairport NY 14450 or Mr. Grey’s Strays in Brockport.
