Obituary of Faye H. Hoot
Faye Hatch Hoot, 82, of Albion, NY, died September 12, 2021, at Martin-Linsin Residence. She was born June 20, 1939, to Rowena and Emerson Hatch in Albion. She graduated from Albion High School in 1957 and later Rochester Business Institute. She married her high school sweetheart, the late Robert J. Hoot, on June 20, 1959.
Faye was a businesswoman, owning and operating H&H Pool and Party Supplies. She was charitable, volunteering with the Twig Association at Arnold Gregory Memorial Hospital. She was a steadfast supporter of her family, ever-present on the sidelines, in the audience, and at the head of the table for holidays and Sunday dinner.
She is survived by her children, Scott (Shelly) Hoot, Christine (Scott) Armstrong, and Lisa (Steven) Hanks; her grandchildren, Timothy Armstrong, Kylie (Andrew) Grillo, Mark Armstrong, Taylor (Zachary Vit) Armstrong, Jaime Hanks, Ryan Hanks, and Spencer Hanks; and her great-grandchildren, Killian Grillo and Declan Grillo.
There will be no calling hours. Services and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Central Orleans Volunteer Ambulance.
